Any air conditioner installation consists of hundreds of connections and many technical considerations that should only be attempted by qualified installers with many years of experience. An improperly installed system will not function properly and will not be able to reach its designed efficiency, no matter which brand is used. In the unlikely event that you do have a problem with the HVAC we have installed, you can rest assured that it will be taken care of promptly.
We specialize in installing quality equipment for homeowners looking to upgrade their current systems. We never use a builders’ model air conditioner or cheaply-made materials. Our installers take pride in their work and consider every finished job a work of art! You can always expect that we always leave our workspace cleaner than when we found it and use proper drop-cloths over your carpet while working. No muddy footprints, handprints, dirt, or grime for you to clean up. Not all companies can confidently promise that!
When choosing a central air system for your home there are a lot of choices to consider. We can provide information for you to help you determine what size, model, and efficiency are best for your home. We also offer free in-person estimates to find the perfect air conditioner for your home. We have a variety of options to choose from and we can customize a package that will fit your budget, with financing options available as well. Associates at Express Home Services can help you to understand the difference between models of air conditioners including 13 SEER, 14 SEER, 16 SEER, and even 2 Stage 18 SEER units.
We prefer to use the American-made brand, Amana, which are air systems that are top of the line and come with parts warranties of up to ten years (a ten-year labor warranty is also available on certain systems). All our central air systems use the new r-410a refrigerant, unlike most central air systems in Utah that use the old type of refrigerant known as r-22 (Freon). The old type of refrigerant is being phased out and will no longer be produced by 2020. Manufacturers of the older refrigerant are only allowed to make a certain amount per year and the cost of this refrigerant has skyrocketed. Why keep spending money on a machine that only gets more and more expensive to maintain? If you have an older, costlier system that needs to be topped off every year, it’s time to consider upgrading it to a new r-410 system. We braise all our refrigerant line connections and don’t use soft solder to ensure a strong leak-free connection.
In most cases, we use a 3-inch plastic pad to set the new condenser on. This type of pad will absorb vibration which leads to a quieter operation that can be set on the leveled ground or even grass! When installing a new central air system an electrical disconnect box will also be installed near the outside unit. Should you have any questions regarding our installation process please give us a call and we would be happy to help you make the best decisions when tuning or reinstalling your air conditioner.
